01Introduction
DeepAd Limited ("DeepAd", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at deepad.ai (the "Site"). This Cookie Policy explains what those technologies are, what we use them for, and how you can control them.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally, and our Website Terms of Use.
02What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as language, sign-in state, or banner choices) so you don't have to re-enter them every time. We also use a few related technologies that work in similar ways:
- Local storage and session storage. Browser storage that holds small amounts of data — typically used for UI preferences and session state.
- Pixels and tags. Tiny snippets of code or 1×1 transparent images that can measure, in aggregate, how visitors use a website. We use these only for the consent-based analytics described below.
- Server-side logs. Standard records (IP address, user-agent, page requested, timestamp) kept briefly for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
For convenience, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
03How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- keep the Site secure and protect forms (e.g. demo requests) from abuse;
- remember the choices you make — such as your cookie-banner preferences and UI settings;
- measure, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it;
- understand, in aggregate, how visitors discover the Site (for example, which page referred them) so we can focus our content where it helps most.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you and we do not sell any data collected through cookies. The DeepAd platform itself does not run advertising cookies on customer dashboards.
04Categories of cookies we use
Cookies on the Site fall into the two categories below. Strictly-necessary cookies are always on; analytics cookies load only after you have consented through the cookie banner. We do not set any marketing, advertising, or behavioural-profiling cookies on this Site.
05Cookies we actually set
The list below names every cookie the Site is currently designed to use. PostHog cookies are only set if you accept the analytics category. We refresh this list whenever the Site materially changes.
06Third-party cookies
We rely on a small number of third-party services on the Site, all with EU-region hosting or processing:
- PostHog (PostHog Inc., served from eu.i.posthog.com) — product analytics. We send measurement events only after you accept analytics cookies, configured with IP-anonymisation and a 12-month retention. See PostHog's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) — a privacy-preserving anti-abuse check loaded on the demo-request page only, so we can tell humans from bots without showing you a puzzle. It is strictly necessary for that form. When the Site is served through Cloudflare's network, Cloudflare also sets a short-lived bot-management cookie (__cf_bm, see the table above). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts (Google) — web-font delivery for the Site's typography. Fonts are requested from Google's servers but no cookie is set and no advertising or analytics identifier is created.
We do not embed YouTube videos, social-share buttons, advertising pixels, or any third-party tag manager or behavioural-tracking script. If we ever add a provider that sets a non-essential cookie, we will update this list and re-prompt you for consent before that cookie is set.
07How long cookies last
Cookies are either session cookies (deleted as soon as you close your browser) or persistent cookies (retained for a set period). The lifetime of every cookie we set is shown in the table above. We never set a persistent cookie for longer than 13 months, and most are shorter.
08Your consent and how to manage it
The first time you visit the Site, a cookie banner asks whether to accept analytics cookies. You can Accept all, Reject all, or open Customize to choose category by category.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
09Browser controls
All major browsers also let you view, block, or delete cookies directly. The exact steps depend on your browser; see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in, demo bookings, or other parts of the Site.
10Do Not Track and GPC signals
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where the law recognises it: when your browser sends a GPC header on your first visit, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics cookies — no banner is shown and no analytics cookie is set.
There is no consistent industry standard for the older Do Not Track (DNT) header and most browsers no longer send it. Where a browser does send it, our analytics provider is configured to honour it; either way, the cookie banner gives you the same level of control.
11Changes to this policy
We update this Cookie Policy whenever the Site changes the cookies it uses or the providers it embeds. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. For material changes (for example, a new analytics provider) we bump the consent version, which re-prompts you for consent the next time you visit.
